How do I get the best burn from my candle?
Trim your wick to 1/4 inch before every burn. This prevents mushrooming, excess soot, and uneven wax pools.
How long should I burn my candle the first time?
Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges on the first burn — this sets the memory of the wax and prevents tunneling. Plan for at least 2–4 hours for the first burn depending on the vessel size.
What is the total burn time?
Burn times vary by size. Each product listing includes the estimated burn time. As a general guide, our candles burn approximately 1 hour per ounce of wax.
When should I stop burning my candle?
Stop when 1/4 inch of wax remains at the bottom. Burning past this point can overheat the vessel and cause damage.
Wax Melts
How do I use wax melts?
Place 1–2 cubes in a wax warmer and turn it on. The warmer melts the wax slowly, releasing fragrance — no flame needed for most electric warmers.
What type of warmer works best?
Both electric warmers and tea light warmers work well. We recommend electric warmers for consistent, even scent throw and added safety.
How long does the scent last?
Each cube typically releases fragrance for 8–12 hours. When the scent fades, the wax can be discarded and replaced with a fresh cube.
How do I remove used wax?
Let the wax re-harden, then press gently to pop it out — or place a cotton ball in the warm liquid wax, let it absorb, and discard once hardened.
